Tian is a visual artist based in New York and Chengdu. After graduating from SVA, she is now studying in the Visual Arts Administration (VAA) Master Program at NYU.

Tian’s projects focus on brand strategy and book design. Exploring graphic design from a critical and linguistic winding, she aims to eliminate the boundary between disciplines.

John Maus and the Truth of Pop

 The goal of this project  is to make two different editions of the same book, for the essay 'Heaven is Real': John Maus and the Truth of Pop. While there's more agency in edition one, as little agency as possible was used for the second edition. 
Two editions occupy different processes and approaches.
